Audio Advection
A procedurally generated music video using particle advection to the beat of Things Change by HoliznaCC0.
This simulation was made using the CHOP node to create audio driven animation in Houdini. Particles were emitted along vector paths surrounding a mesh with an additional layer created from a pyro simulation converted into particle advection. The sequence was then post-processed in Nuke.
This project consists of 4,500 animated frames and took a total of 54hrs to render across several different FX layers for a total of 36,000 rendered frames.
Approximately 27hrs of work time.
